Technical overview
Sensuron offers the sensing fibre that its DFOS interrogators read. Two coating families are listed: ORMOCER at 195 um and 120 um for strain sensing, ORMOCER-T at the same two diameters for temperature sensing, and GFRP at 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm for strain sensing. The coating choice determines whether the fibre couples mechanical strain or is thermally decoupled for temperature measurement. No further optical specifications are published on the website.
