Distributed fiber sensing

Sensuron

Goleta, California, USA · est. 2015

Sensuron designs and builds distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) systems that turn a single optical fiber into thousands of continuously distributed sensors for measuring strain and temperature in real time. The technology originated from algorithms licensed from NASA and is used for structural health monitoring across aerospace, energy, automotive and research applications. Their interrogator platforms range from static strain monitors to ruggedized, aerospace-qualified high-speed systems.

Independent. 4DSP established Sensuron as its own entity in February 2015, building on the 2011 licensing agreement with NASA Armstrong behind its distributed sensing technology. Founded in Austin, Texas; the company now gives its address as Goleta, California.

OgMentum represents Sensuron across its regions, providing local sales, application engineering and support so you get the right product backed by responsive service.
