Compact variable optical attenuator in bench top or rack mount, available in 1 to 4 channels with single mode, PM or multimode fiber. Attenuation is set from the front panel or remotely, with optional optical power monitoring and control.

The series covers more than 60 dB of attenuation across 1260-1650 nm on single mode and PM fiber, or 700-1400 nm on multimode fiber, with plus/minus 0.1 dB accuracy in the 0-10 dB band and plus/minus 0.05 dB repeatability. Switching time is under 10 ms and the attenuator is rated for more than 10^7 cycles. Optional power monitoring spans +10 to -40, -55 or -65 dBm with plus/minus 0.2 dB setting accuracy. The quoted size and weight are for a bench top cabinet of up to 4 channels; higher channel counts and rack mount cabinets differ.
