Multi-channel optical power meters from 1 to 16 channels for single mode and multimode fiber, offered in two InGaAs head configurations. Controlled from the front panel or remotely in bench top, rack mount and integrated test platform builds.

Two model families are published. The GM8012B mainframe with a GM83001E or GM83002 head covers 800-1700 nm with a power range of -85 to +3 dBm or -65 to +23 dBm, relative uncertainty under 0.02 dB typical and linearity inside plus/minus 0.06 dB. The GM8045B covers 850-1700 nm at -70 to +3 dBm with relative accuracy under 0.05 dB typical. Both are specified at plus/minus 4% absolute accuracy, return loss above 40 dB, a two-year recalibration period and USB or RS-232 remote control. Bench top covers 1-2 channels; 1-16 channels is available in rack mount, remote control only.

A benchtop instrument that measures the modal launch condition (Encircled Flux) of a multimode light source and patchcord at 850 nm. It is used to verify that a test source meets the launch requirements of the multimode loss-measurement standards.

A two-channel mechanical fiber shaker that continuously agitates a multimode test jumper so that laser speckle averages out during Encircled Flux and loss measurements.

A bench interferometer that inspects and measures the surface quality, flatness and end angle of cleaved or polished fiber end faces in 2D and 3D. Three models cover fiber diameters from 80 um to 2000 um.
