A 2U rack-mount controller that interrogates networks of FiberStrike fiber optic tamper switches and converts each switch state into a dry relay contact output. Intended for access-point security monitoring at manholes, hatchways and vaults.
The LCM-2500 drives eight optical channels, each carrying up to eight uniquely addressed switches in series on a single strand of single-mode fiber, for a maximum of 64 switches per controller. Switches may sit anywhere on the fiber up to 10 mi / 16 km from the controller over standard telecommunications-grade single-mode fiber. Each switch is monitored continuously and an open or close event activates the associated dry contact relay in under one second. Events are logged on board for historical review, with 4 GB standard storage and a 1 TB option.

A battery-powered, ruggedised eight-channel Fiber Bragg Grating interrogator for field monitoring of temperature, pressure and strain sensors. Supplied in a waterproof carrying case for outdoor and remote deployment.

A benchtop instrument that measures the modal launch condition (Encircled Flux) of a multimode light source and patchcord at 850 nm. It is used to verify that a test source meets the launch requirements of the multimode loss-measurement standards.

A two-channel mechanical fiber shaker that continuously agitates a multimode test jumper so that laser speckle averages out during Encircled Flux and loss measurements.
Our application engineers will confirm specifications with the manufacturer and quote for your configuration.
