Technical overview

The FLS is a compact fixed-wavelength diode laser source whose emission wavelength is set to order anywhere in 1180-1370 nm or 1400-1680 nm, to an accuracy of +/-0.2 nm. Typical linewidth is 30 kHz (minimum 10 kHz) with typical RIN of -150 dB/Hz and output power of +10 dBm or more, on polarization-maintaining fiber with a selectable optical connector. Power supply and driver are integrated in the 141 x 137 x 71 housing, controlled over a serial interface, and the manufacturer offers customization including multi-channel and multi-wavelength builds.
