Technical overview

A Faraday-series point level sensor read over the same single-core single-mode fiber network as the other sensors in the series. A magnet inside the float actuates the optical element as the level reaches the set point. Shinkosha states the float structure was examined for outdoor service such as rivers, but publishes no dimensions, level accuracy, pressure rating or materials.
