An advanced shape sensing platform that reconstructs and displays the entire shape of a thin, flexible optical fiber. TSSC positions it for integration into medical devices, giving robots and surgeons feedback on tool location without radiative imaging.

Pathfinder is a desktop interrogation unit that monitors a single 3D shape sensor and outputs shape either on screen or as an Ethernet stream. TSSC states the product line is built on Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry (OFDR) rather than discrete FBG/WDM sensing, giving more than eight thousand measurements along a 1.25 m 3D shape sensor at 150 micron resolution. It supports tortuous paths, twist and 6 degrees of freedom over more than 1 metre of sensing length, and compensates shape measurements for temperature automatically.

An entry-level shape sensing development platform that reconstructs and displays the entire shape of a thin, flexible optical fiber. It ships as a self-contained unit with a 3D shape sensor and visualization software.

A benchtop instrument that measures the modal launch condition (Encircled Flux) of a multimode light source and patchcord at 850 nm. It is used to verify that a test source meets the launch requirements of the multimode loss-measurement standards.

A two-channel mechanical fiber shaker that continuously agitates a multimode test jumper so that laser speckle averages out during Encircled Flux and loss measurements.
Our application engineers will confirm specifications with the manufacturer and quote for your configuration.
