Fiber Optic Switches
Configurable fiber optic switches from 2 to 128 channels in singlemode, multimode and PM fiber, in 1xN, 2xN, ganged 2xN and MxN matrix arrangements. Supplied bench top, rack mount, or as a module inside an integrated Bola test platform.
Technical overview
Insertion loss is specified by channel count, from under 0.8 dB for up to 24 singlemode channels to under 1.5 dB at 65-128 channels, with repeatability inside plus/minus 0.05 dB and maximum crosstalk below -70 dB. Singlemode and PM units cover 1260-1650 nm; multimode covers 700-1400 nm. Switching time is under 10 ms and the switch is rated for more than 10^7 cycles. Control is from the front panel or remotely.
