GTR FBG Interrogator
Single-channel, PIC-based FBG interrogator for compact quasi-distributed fibre optic sensing installations. Reads up to eight Fiber Bragg Grating sensors on one optical fibre.
Technical overview
The GTR is PhotonFirst's entry-level photonic-integrated-circuit interrogator. The manufacturer lists one optical channel carrying up to eight FBG sensors and a sampling frequency of 19.23 kHz. It is one of the two products supported by PhotonFirst's Gator Operator Software and the Public GTR API. No wavelength range, resolution or accuracy figures are published on the open website; the full datasheet sits behind a contact form.
Also supplied through Sensuron. The same instrument reaches us by more than one route; the specifications are the manufacturer's either way.
