SGTR Multichannel FBG Interrogator

Eight-channel PIC-based FBG interrogator for multiplexed strain and temperature sensing. Supports up to eight FBG sensors per optical channel.

SGTR Multichannel FBG Interrogator

Technical overview

The SGTR extends the GTR architecture to eight optical channels, each carrying up to eight FBG sensors. PhotonFirst states a maximum sampling frequency of 19.23 kHz on a single channel; no published figure is given for the aggregate multi-channel rate. It is the interrogator named in PhotonFirst's Gantner Instruments DAQ integration and in the Taipei 101 structural monitoring case study.

Also supplied through Sensuron. The same instrument reaches us by more than one route; the specifications are the manufacturer's either way.
