SGTR FBG Interrogator

Eight-channel desktop Fiber Bragg Grating interrogator with programmable channel multiplexing and up to 19.2 kHz per-channel sampling. Distributed in the US by Sensuron.

SGTR FBG Interrogator

Technical overview

The SGTR is a full solid state multi-channel FBG interrogator supporting eight optical channels with up to eight FBG sensors each. Channel sampling can be sequential or continuous, with a default sampling rate of 19.23 kHz and selectable 1 kHz, 5 kHz and 10 kHz options; Sensuron quotes a scan rate over all channels of 30 Hz. Wavelength measurement is guaranteed over 1516 nm to 1583 nm with output resolution better than 1 pm/bit and precision of sigma below 2 pm. The unit measures 110 x 130 x 47 mm, weighs 540 g, and outputs CSV over USB 2.0.

Also supplied through PhotonFirst. The same instrument reaches us by more than one route; the specifications are the manufacturer's either way.
