Technical overview

The AMP-FL8511 uses Yb-doped fiber as the gain medium and is specified from 975 to 981 nm in the spec table, while the product header quotes a broader 970 to 1000 nm window. Output power is at least +14 dBm at 0 dBm input and small-signal gain is at least 25 dB at -30 dBm input. Input and output are HI1060 fiber with FC/PC connectors and built-in isolators; ACC/ALC control is available from the front panel or over RS-232C and GP-IB.
