FiberLabs' standard, mass-produced rare-earth-doped ZBLAN fluoride bare fibers. The dopants give emission wavelengths in the visible, near-infrared and mid-infrared that silica hosts cannot reach.

Seven double-clad fibers are catalogued, doped with Er, Tm, Ho/Tm, Ho/Pr or Er/Dy at concentrations from 2,000 to 60,000 mol ppm. Core diameters run from 7.5 to 30 microns with core NA from 0.11 to 0.17 (each measured at its own reference wavelength) and cutoff wavelengths from under 1700 nm to under 5350 nm. All have a circular first cladding of 120 to 300 microns and a second cladding NA of 0.50 +/- 0.02 at 1000 nm, with cladding absorption from 0.3 to 5 dB/m at the stated pump wavelength. FiberLabs' standard, regularly produced non-doped ZBLAN fluoride bare fibers, in single-mode and multimode forms. ZBLAN transmits into the mid-infrared where silica does not.

FiberLabs' current stock list of ZBLAN fluoride bare fibers, doped and undoped, updated against actual inventory. It covers geometries outside the standard mass-production lineup.

A custom draw service for ZBLAN fluoride fiber, for requirements the standard non-doped, standard rare-earth-doped and inventory lineups do not cover.
Our application engineers will confirm specifications with the manufacturer and quote for your configuration.
