SLD light source (Bench Top)
A bench-top superluminescent diode light source family covering 750 to 1750 nm, with sixteen catalogued centre wavelengths plus a custom option. FiberLabs states essentially any SLD type can be built to order.
Technical overview
The standard lineup runs from SLD-0830-01 at 830 nm through the telecom wavelengths to SLD-1650-08 at 1650 nm, with output power from >= 1 mW to >= 36 mW and spectral bandwidth from >= 15 nm to >= 75 nm depending on model. Short-wavelength models use HI780 or HI1060 fiber with FC/APC connectors and an optional isolator; models from 1275 nm up use G.652-compliant SMF with FC/PC connectors and a built-in isolator. All ship in a 66 x 160 x 230 mm chassis on universal AC mains.
