Bench-top multiband SLD light sources that combine up to four SLDs in one unit to give ultra-wideband coverage across the telecom bands. FiberLabs targets them at measuring optical devices, CWDM components and sensors.

Four combinations are catalogued. The SLD-1070-10 covers 1050 to 1130 nm on HI1060 fiber; the SLD-1550/1650-10 covers 1520 to 1670 nm; the SLD-1310/1400/1480/1600-10 covers 1260 to 1620 nm; and the SLD-1310/1430/1550/1690-10 spans the widest 1250 to 1750 nm, taking in the O-, E-, S-, C-, L- and U-bands. All four are specified at >= +10 mW output, with spectral power density from >= -20 dBm/nm on the narrower combinations to >= -35 dBm/nm on the widest, in an 88 x 260 x 350 mm chassis.
