O-band amplifier (PDFA, 1U Rack Mount)

A 1U rack-mount O-band PDFA intended for deployment in data centre, access and metro networks rather than on the bench. Amplification is independent of signal format and data rate.

O-band amplifier (PDFA, 1U Rack Mount)

Technical overview

The AMP-FL5601-OB series covers 1280 to 1320 nm at a 1310 nm nominal wavelength in five output grades from >= +10 dBm to >= +20 dBm, with gain from >= 10 dB to >= 35 dB and noise figure <= 7 dB. The 43 x 440 x 403 mm chassis uses SC/PC connectors on G.652 fiber, redundant hot-swap AC power, and RS-232C plus an alarm relay; Ethernet (option -092) and a front control panel (option -151) are offered. FiberLabs notes it can amplify small signals from a network TAP for monitoring applications.

Features

  • Best performing O-band Fiber Amplifier in Market
  • Proven Reliability by Actual Network Deployment
  • High Gain and Low NF
  • Monitoring/Logging/Interlocking Function
  • RS-232C
  • SNMP Option
